Manchester-based three-piece alternative punk band The Blinders are going on a seven-date tour across the United Kingdom over the next three weeks: and all of the proceeds made from the dates are going to support the local Labour parties as they try to defeat the Conservatives in the upcoming December general election.
On Friday, December 6th, they will be playing at Stourbridge’s Green Duck Brewery, along with local band The Novus, who are a four piece funk punk indie band with a similarly very good reputation for playing great live shows, and a selection of ‘friends’ who together will create a memorable and fun night for a very good cause. The event is scheduled to begin at 7pm.

The Blinders have never shied away from expressing their political views through their music. On Facebook, they posted of the event:
All of our lives it has felt like politics has worked against us with election after election seemingly serving the interests of a limited few.
For us, the election on the 12th of December, provides a crucial opportunity to elect a Labour government that we truly believe in. The For the Many Tour is about using our platform to bring people together, influence change and help create a society in which we are a little bit more equal. We hoped to be joined by as many of our friends and like minded individuals as possible. If not now then when?
